1. To guide and support the Congregation’s mission “to serve God and His Church, each other and those in need both near and far.” To this end, the Mission Committee will work on behalf of the Kirk Session to:

• maintain and develop the Congregation’s established relationships with projects and organizations in our local community, in the UK and worldwide that support people in need (including Borderline, Christian Aid, Fair Trade, West London Action for Children, Glassdoor (Homeless Charity));

• seek out and research new opportunities for the Congregation to use our skills and resources to support those in need and fulfil our commitment to the Christian faith;

• promote the Church’s mission work to the Congregation and encourage participation; and

• coordinate the main appeals made to the Congregation (Harvest, Advent and Lent).

2. To liaise as appropriate with other Committees of the Kirk Session and to report periodically to the Kirk Session.
