Enjoying Sunday School

Our Sunday school programme, for children aged five to twelve offers various age appropriate sessions. The children begin Sunday worship in church with their parents and then leave for Sunday School after the (very participative!) Children’s Talk. We provide well prepared activity-based sessions around well known Bible stories. Through music, arts and crafts, drama and other workshops, the children learn and understand the major Bible stories and grow in their faith journey while having fun. We have a number of families who attend regularly and some who can only come along occasionally. We cater equally well for both and we also welcome first time visitors. We are able to adapt our teaching sessions so that each one is meaningful and enjoyable by itself

Our children learn to participate in and celebrate the great Christian festivals through such events as nativity plays, enjoyed by the whole congregation, and Palm Sunday processions. We have a new all ages Children’s Choir, which takes part in some Sunday services.
All our Sunday School staff have been CRB approved and many are trained teachers or work in an educational environment
Note: The Sunday School does not meet during July and August when we adapt the morning service to make it a whole family experience. For more information about Sunday School, do please get in touch via the office ( 020 7584 2321) with Fiona or Catherine.
