The Congregation of St Columba’s is one family and all ages are welcome.

Our crèche is available every Sunday morning (Sept – July) from 10.30am in the Lower Hall of the church, providing a fun space for under 4’s to play and make friends while parents and carers attend the service. A Quiet Corner at the back of the church also provides a comfortable spot for parents to tend to little ones. Our Sunday School welcomes children from age 4 to 12, offering informal sessions that explore Bible stories through art, games, puzzles, drama and chat! Our aim is to make the sessions fun and accessible and children are welcome to attend whenever they can – we know how busy family life can be. (No School School in July and August)

Teenagers get together in our Senior Study Group during Sunday service for discussion, debate and challenge. Many of our young people also get involved in activities across the church helping at social events, volunteering at the homeless night shelter, working on hospitality teams and raising funds for charity.

During July, and August an informal all-age service is held at 9.30am, including story-telling, music and prayers.

At the end of each school year, we celebrate with a congregational picnic in Hyde Park.

All our activities for young people are carefully structured and supervised to offer a safe and caring environment. Both the crèche and Sunday School are run by volunteers from the church. For more information on our policies, see Safeguarding.
