The church bookstall is manned by volunteers and is open every Sunday morning, before and after the service. It is located in the upper vestibule, between the Session Room and the Vestry. There is also a second hand bookstall which is open approximately once a month in the library. This is manned by volunteers from the Youth Fellowship. Both stalls are always happy to welcome new volunteers. We also sell the St Columba’s Church Magazine and the magazine of the Church of Scotland, Life and Work. Some items of stationery, cards, calendars etc are also on sale.

The books on the bookstall are very varied, both theological, bible study, life themes and novels and we cater for all ages. Inevitably we have a small stock but we are always happy to order books for you and our prices are keen. We usually stock the St Columba’s Book Club choice and are also pleased to receive recommendations for book titles that we might consider for the stall. Each week we highlight a specific book and details of the recommendation are in the intimations and enewsletter. Here are some of the recent recommendations.
